The University of Hawai`i at Hilo invites the public to a training session on Compression Only Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automatic External Defibrillation (AED) on Tuesday, April 19, from 5-6:30 p.m. in Vulcan Gym.

Captain Chris Honda of the Hawai`i Fire Department's Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Bureau will demonstrate the three essential steps to saving a life during sudden cardiac arrest. Participants will then have the opportunity to practice what they learned.
