Hawaiʻi Island police have located 38-year-old Mary Jane Anderson, of Pāhoa, who was reported missing.
She was located in Pāhoa on Thursday evening (September 1).

Mary Jane Anderson, who may also go by the names Mary Jane Sheppard or Mary Jane Suerte, was last seen around 9 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 1), in the area of Prince Kūhiō Plaza in Hilo. She is described as Filipino, 4-foot-5, 120-125 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She was wearing a fluorescent green T-shirt with black sleeves and dark jeans.
Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call Officer Christopher Jelsma at 961-2213 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
