Dr. Charles “Chip” Fletcher is a renowned geomorphologist who has done tremendous research on the impact of sea level rise on pacific shorelines.  Fletcher is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Geology and Geophysics at the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology (SOEST) at University of Hawaii at Manoa. Fletcher will be speaking the University of Hawaii, Hilo's Earth Fair this Friday, April 17. He will give two presentations this Friday, one at 10am and again at 11am at UCB 100 on campus.

Dr. Fletcher teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in Earth Science, Climate Change on Pacific Islands, and Coastal Geology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
