The County of Hawai’i and the Hawai’i Tourism Authority will host the 2015 HTA CPEP Hō’ike on July 8, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Hilton Waikoloa Village.
In collaboration with the Hawai’i Tourism Authority, the County Product Enrichment Program (CPEP) supports and funds community-based programs that provide unique, authentic offerings and activities to improve and enrich the Hawai’i Island visitor experience. This gathering is an opportunity for new CPEP applicants as well as previous grantees to learn collaboratively, network, and develop partnerships to grow and sustain the programs.
The day will provide hands-on workshops on grants, sponsorships, marketing tools, and sustaining festivals and events. Industry experts like Danny Akaka from Mauna Lani, Diana Bertsch from Ironman, and Chris Leonard from KWXX will share their experiences, best practices and success stories at morning and lunchtime panels. Registration is $30. Space is limited, so register soon. Contact Tourism Specialist Frecia Cevallos at (808) 961-8366.
